One proposal for Children’s Ringette some time in the future is to run two shorter seasons, essentially one before Christmas and one after Christmas. Both seaons would be identical. The main rationale is: allow children to be registered for one season, the other season or both, depending on what works for them and to allow children to be moved to more advanced groups, as required, twice per calendar year rather than the once per calendar year currently. There are pros and cons to this approach. More flexibility for families and better grouping of players vs more work for local association volunteers. What are your thoughts?
